The Embassy of the I.R of Afghanistan celebrated 100th Anniversary of the Independence of Afghanistan in Kuala Lumpur

Friday, September 27, 2019, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Kuala Lumpur celebrated the 100^th anniversary of the Independence Day of Afghanistan on the eve of the actual date of 19 August, in JW Marriott hotel Kuala Lumpur.

Deputy Minister of works, The honorable Tuan Haji Mohd Anuar Bin Mohd Tahir , 95 Ambassadors and Charge d’affaires, officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of International Trade, MCCM, MATRADE, Malaysian Universities officials, Afghan Professors and Students from various universities, as well as Afghan and Malaysian businessmen attended the reception.

The program initiated with the national anthems of Afghanistan and Malaysia and the speech of the Charge’d Affair, Mr. Abdul Mueen Shahid, elaborating the Malaysia-Afghanistan relations, and the investment opportunities in Afghanistan.
