Flag flown Half-mast again at Embassy

In line with the national day of mourning and condemnation of the Terror attack in Kabul which claimed the life of 81 Afghan Nationals and wounding of more than 231 Afghans, a Khatm-Al-Quran was held at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Kuala Lumpur on 25th July 2016. His Excellency Atiqullah Atifmal Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic of Afghanistan to Malaysia along with the Embassy’s Staffs and representatives of the Afghan Students in Malaysia expressed their condolences and sympathies to the families and the people of Afghanistan, and prayed for the immediate recovery of the injured.

Furthermore the Right Honorable Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia, has condemned Saturday’s Terror attack in Kabul. Sickened by the attack, Prime Minister said that “murder of innocent people is never justified”. Prime Minister also said: “the nation’s thoughts and prayers were with the Afghan people on their National day of mourning”.
