Courtesy call of the Ambassador on Right Honorable the Prime Minister of Malaysia

H.E Atiqullah Atifmal the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan paid a courtesy call on Right Honorable the Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato’ Sri Haji Mohammad Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak, on 2nd February 2016.

Ambassador Atifmal conveyed the greetings and goodwill messages of H.E Mohammad Ashraf Ghani the President and H.E Dr. Abdullah Abdullah the Chief Executive Officer of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, to the Prime Minister.

Furthermore, Ambassador Atifmal has presented the Afghanistan’s government wishes on strengthening bilateral relations, investment, business and trade, and facilitating of visa for students and businessmen, scholarships, and establishment of the Embassy of Malaysia in Afghanistan.

In return, the Honorable Prime Minister by appreciating the goodwill messages of Excellencies the President and the CEO of I.R Afghanistan, expressed his best wishes for both Excellencies. Moreover, addressing undersecretary South and Central Asia, Dato’ Saipul Anuar Abd Muin, Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia for extensive cooperation with the Embassy in resolving the Afghan national visa issue.

The Ambassador has invited the R.H the Prime Minister to pay a friendly visit to Afghanistan at his own convenience to meet the President and CEO.
